The AMS Eliminator 600 Series Fume Hood supports labs that handle radiochemicals and corrosive materials. It uses the same aerodynamic airflow design as the standard airfoil hood. However, it adds a seamless stainless-steel interior to improve protection and simplify decontamination. The liner and work surface come from one piece of 304 stainless steel. This design prevents chemical absorption and makes cleanup fast and consistent.

A flush-mounted radiused airfoil guides air smoothly beneath the sash. As a result, turbulence stays low and containment stays stable. The airfoil, sash, and interior surfaces are all stainless steel, which increases durability during high-risk applications. The hood includes a vertical-rising sash, and labs may choose a combination sash when they need added flexibility.

The 600 Series also includes full-frame construction, a shaft-driven sash system, and bright LED lighting. Interior access to the light housing allows quick service and maintenance. In addition, a louvered front panel supports bypass airflow and helps maintain steady face velocity at different sash positions.

Five widths—36″, 48″, 60″, 72″, and 96″—let labs select the right size for their workflow and available space. A 10-inch stainless-steel exhaust collar connects the hood to standard duct systems. The unit works in both CV and VAV ventilation environments.

Labs can expand the hood with accessories such as alarms, lattice assemblies, push-button sash controls, chain-and-sprocket sash drives, blowers, base cabinets, and ceiling enclosure kits. These options allow the 600 Series to fit a wide range of radiochemical tasks while maintaining strong containment and durable performance.
