The AMS Eliminator 800 Series Fume Hood is designed for K–12 science classrooms and secondary school labs. It offers a safe, affordable option for programs that need reliable containment without the advanced features required in higher-level research environments. The hood uses a flat-front design similar to the 300 Series, but it includes wider 5-inch posts that allow plumbing and electrical fixtures to mount directly on the face of the hood.

Although it is economically priced, the 800 Series maintains the core performance features found in other AMS fume hoods. It includes a flush-mounted airfoil that guides air smoothly beneath the sash and helps reduce turbulence. This airflow supports safer demonstrations and hands-on activities in classrooms where students work close to the hood.

The hood features full-frame construction, a shaft-driven sash system, and a U.L.-listed poly resin liner. LED lighting provides clear workspace visibility, and a full-length finger lift allows easy sash movement. A louvered front helps maintain bypass airflow and supports stable face velocity as the sash position changes. The unit also connects to standard ductwork through a 10-inch stainless-steel collar.

Five standard widths—36″, 48″, 60″, 72″, and 96″—give schools flexibility when designing or upgrading their lab spaces. The hood also offers knock-down capability, which makes delivery and installation easier in older buildings or tight classrooms.

Schools can add accessories such as base cabinets, alarms, push-button sash controls, epoxy tops, plumbing fixtures, blowers, and ceiling enclosures. With its durable build and simple operation, the Eliminator 800 Series delivers dependable performance for everyday educational use.
