The AMS Eliminator 200 Series Fume Hood offers the same smooth airflow performance as the 100 Series, but with access from both sides. This makes it a strong choice for teaching labs, prep rooms, and demonstrations. Because airflow enters beneath the sash from either side, turbulence stays low and face velocity remains steady.
The hood features a 45° fascia and a radiused, flush-mounted airfoil along the bottom. Together, these design elements support consistent airflow during experiments. In addition, a powder-coated finish protects the surface from chemical exposure, and the U.L.-listed poly resin liner adds durability.
The 200 Series includes full-frame construction, LED lighting, and a full-length finger lift for easy sash movement. It also uses a knock-down structure, which helps installers move the unit through tight doors and assemble it inside the lab. For bypass airflow support, the hood includes a louvered front panel.
A 10-inch stainless-steel round collar connects the hood to standard duct systems. Five width options—36″, 48″, 60″, 72″, and 96″—give facilities the flexibility to match the hood to available space. Because the unit works in either CV or VAV systems, labs can integrate it into existing ventilation setups.
The 200 Series allows plumbing and electrical services on both sides. Its 5-inch posts support remote plumbing controls and electrical components, and labs can choose the layout that best fits daily tasks.
Finally, the hood accepts several optional accessories, such as sash stops, stainless-steel sash assemblies, alarms, epoxy tops, blowers, lattice assemblies, electrical kits, and ceiling enclosure kits. With these options, the Eliminator 200 Series offers durable construction, low turbulence, and dual-sided access for multi-user lab environments.
